Have just been reflecting on a great match. Playing St Kilda at Ethihad, and going toe to toe with them all the way was fantastic. To lose so convincingly in the clearances and still take it to them highlights our increased attack and pressure on the ball carrier. I never felt we were going to be blown away like previous years.

Our zone is terrific, tackling better, movement more precise and our leadership strong. In football jargon our structures are well in place, which I believe has led to our biggest improvement, our consistency. In the end I think the final result could of gone either way, with our youth being slightly outclassed through the middle in the last quarter. I still loved how they took the game on and tried to break the zone by playing on through the corridor.

Players are not going to be outstanding every game (except maybe barlow), we don't need to blame anyone, the boys are doing us proud.
