I thought we made too many panic decisions under pressure that resulted in costly turnovers, so from a composure perspective last week was better. Composure being the number one thing we need to work on from here.
The personnel are there, the gameplan is there, the discipline is streets ahead of even last season. Basically all the pieces are in place. From here it is a matter of getting some big-game experience into the players and learning from it.
Today will be invaluable in that regard.

Agreed Luuuc. The experience gained in that pressure cooker environment will be priceless for the whole team.

This will give the guys a good look at finals intensity football. With our list, a game like this will be extremely valuable.

The experience will make them a far better side next time we meet the sinners.

Given the physical and emotional energy spent last week I was pleasantly surprised to see the way we fought the game out.
If there was a disappointing aspect to the game it was the influence of the H bombs. Hasleby, Headland did not have the best of games and Hill was a little down as well.Pinchy was also ordinary.
My standards and expectations are higher now and I hope the boys freshen up and give the Tigers the hiding they deserve.

Some of our young guys coughed it up under extreme pressure on a small ground. It's a pretty big adjustment to come and play St Kilda at Etihad from Subi.

If we play them again this year in a home and away game or a final at Subi - we will win.

eddies hat needs to be a second home for us. we play there alot, which means we reqire two different game plans for the different size grounds.no problem for a crack outfit like the dockers, but imagine if a team like collingwood required two different game plans. there'd be a mass brain implosion.
