That was another great game of footy. Saints too good, Freo did well.
Both teams will be very sore. Surely Sandi will get a rest or help next week?

The first 5 mins of the 4th quarter where they got 2-3 quick goals Sandy wasn't on the ground. How's that for saying we need him?

Sandi is fine playing the style of game he is at present. Just look at all the contested marks he took today including one absolute screamer! It's not like Richmond have any ruckmen to play against him.
I don't wanna see Zac in the side unless he is playing 70% or more game time. He needs to be getting full games under his belt to learn and develop as a ruckman. I'd keep him in the WAFL all season unless Sandi doesn't play. MJ is doing a fantastic job and Kepler can come in and play the second ruck role if necessary.

I don't think it was that we needed Sandi - but we needed another ruckmen. Kepler should probably have played. Having said that, the boys played very well, and apart from Deboer dropping a couple of marks, I couldn't find any massive flaws in our skills or plan. Keep it up dockers.

on review i think it was van berlo that dropped a couple of easy marks. he may be the one that makes way for palmer?
to my thinking, in's and outs could be (and it's always a bit stiff to take guys out of a team playing so well...)
out: mcphee, jvb
in: kepler, palmer
don't think we'll be needing that extra size to protect teh kids from the tiges, and jvb was hard at the ball, but the skills weren't flash.
sandi needs to reduce his load before he does himself some harm (and i love the look of him retsing in the goal square! )
if palmer is fit and firing (and he's had a week off to freshen up), i can't see why he'd be watching this one.

Hipless for Flinchy then? I haven't seen Flinchy do anything yet that Hipless can't, and Hipless is 4+ year younger ruck option.
