Ok, didn't like the loss but lets put things into perspective.
Many 'informed' media types reckoned we were in danger of being none from our first four games due to our 'horror' starting month, yet we have three wins (including the premiers) and certainly took it up to the Saints.
I for one am absolutely estatic with where we're at, full credit to Harvs and the team.

Agreed! If it wasnt for the one sided maggoting in the last quarter, we would have done more than just take to St Hildas.

No argument from me.
My satisfaction levels have increased with each week.
Looking at next round's fixture, it's just a pity that the AFL seem to have run out of decent opponents to throw at us

We scored well against the saints. The highest score so far this year against them.
We need to reload and take on the next opponents with the same intensity.

3-1 after 4 rounds is excellent.Hopefully Rhys will be back next week to destroy the Tigers.Overall things are looking good.

Take a look back 1 year and see how we did against the Saints... we were terrible and kicked 4 goals, I seem to remember. That's a big, big step forward. However, next week is a big test again. how the team responds after a setback is a big indicator of character, especially after the 4 weeks of very hard work the boys have put in. I was pleased that we got the last 2 goals of the game though - that shows plenty of character, afer going 25 (or whatever it was) points down late on.
We dun well, congratulations to the boys , and Harves. I can't wait for next week....

I walked away from the Dome happier than I expected and was pleased when I was making my way down the stairs listening to the Saints supporters who were all giving our boys a big thumbs up! Yeah sure there was the odd supporter who does not know much about footy who thought the sun shone from somewhere from their beloved Saints, but the true footy loving fans could not believe how good our boys had become.
One group even stating " they will be damaging in the finals"... Now if this is how rival fans are starting to talk, it gives me goose bumps to think what we can achieve if we continue to build a new brand, a new Freo...
