Remember a few short years ago, Chris Connolly proclaiming something about future games between Freo and the Saints being heavyweight title fights, a la Ali v Frasier?
They all scoffed then...
A prescient fella that Connolly.

It is going to be a lot closer than St Kilda think I reckon.
We will be a little quick for them around the ground and we have enough strong bodied players to compete around the stoppages.
They don't have a suitable match up for Pavlich and he may be the difference between the two sides. I seriously hope they bring in Bradley for Mcphee and stick with DeBoer for his grunt around the packs.
Our disposal under pressure will be the critical thing.
But I like our chances on Sunday, we are worth a few bob I reckon. Four and none - who would have thought.

In my view, the Sinners have deployed a cramped triangular configuration around the contested ball which needs breaking. Whenever there is a contested situation there are at least 3 options a Sinner has to get the pill out - once it gets to a teammate there are an addition 2 options to secure possession. This has worked fantastically well over the past year (or so).
My solution would be to place a single Docker in the middle of the triangle to simply upset the quick exchanges. Someone with long arms and wide hands - with quick reflexes. There is a numerical advantage that we should have - with 3 Sinners and 1 Docker engaged in the formation, there should be (theoretically) 2 Dockers free somewhere. Bring another in to scoop up the ball from the broken play and to find the loose seagull waiting to move the ball in the opposite direction.
Apart from the ooftits, I like nothing better than beating that team coached by The Smarmy B*$%#rd - I'll never forget Sirengate, nor that incident between Baker and The Purple Jesus.

I don't want to put a dampener on anything but how do we all think we pulled up after Sunday? I thought the guys did so well, put their all into the game, but did they run themselves ragged?
Have they got enough in their collective tanks to do what the did on Sunday, again?
It's a good think that they have a full week for recovery, I'm just worried about our young fellas I guess.
Can someone abate my fears please?

We don't have a full week, we have 6 days. And a flight to Melbourne. Which puts us at a significant disadvantage.
Doesn't mean we can't beat them though.
EDIT - My mistake. We do have a full week. But they have an extra 2 days.
