I don't want to get into too much umpire bashing, despite being pretty frustrated at some of the decisions yesterday. But one maggot beauty was how this mark got paid to Podsiadly:

Podsi-ugly's mark was one thing but what about Zsa Zsa's attempt at a screamer with the foot and the green maggot gave a free kick and said he pushed with his foot. 2 minutes later one of the cats did the same thing but no hands on it at all and play on...I declare shenanigans

I was at the Cats game which was a real treat for me. With my son we were sitting between the Geelong race and the umpire’s race. Having lost the game they were very despondent and upset after trying so hard. So were the Geelong players.
I couldn’t believe the obvious double standards throughout the game. Why have they got in for us Dockers?

Q-When is a holding the ball decision given? A-when a non Docker player touches a purple jumper.
Q- When is a non purple jumper holding the ball? A- He isn’t as he will eventually get rid of it. See its coming out now, nearly, It will be released …..I assure you it will.
Q- Why is a Fremantle player booked for pinching a bottom. A- No one touches my Gawy. He gets my 3 votes every time I ump his game.
Q- Does Ballantine get a free in the goal square for having a belt to the head? A- Yes, I mean no, as he was the one who pinched.

Am I biased or what? I just can’t seem to see how this is fair. Do we ever get a good run from the umps?
I usually watch on TV so I really loved being there on a special win!
