The Tag
#302629
It will be interesting to see who receives and who gives a tag. The worst has suggested that captain ginger will tag Barlow and history suggests that creepy will tag Gary Jnr. If deboer does play he could have the task of tagging bartel or over-the-shoulder selwood, Mundy may take the other.

Also Enright's run off half back will need to be evaluated and it will be interesting who plays him.

Any thoughts on any other key match-ups that could occur and any other tags that could occur.

I reckon:
I. Crowley will tag Gary Jnr;
II. de Boer will tag Selwood;
III. Bartel won't be tagged; and
IV. Ling will tag Barlow.

Sounds good to me Mike.

Would that mean that Haselby would end out being accountable for Bartel?
If so, it would be very interesting.

I don't think you'll have to worry too much about Enright running off the halfback as he'll be trying too hard to try to keep up with The Mayor. Best of luck to him!

I heard a commentator saying the other day that Creepy is the best tagger of Gary's son in the league.

Bartel is an interesting one because he's one of those players who seems to be nigh-on impossible to tag - he's pretty solid, so you can't keep him away from the play physically, and he doesn't seem to get distracted by niggle either, unlike a couple of his teammates. Plus Bartel's big strength for Geelong is his tackling, which is pretty tough to stop.

I reckon Bartel will play on a wing, and if he does I'd like to see Hill run him around a bit.

Looking forward to that Yank, the sight of Enright getting mown down by The Mayor. And of course the resultant goal from the turnover.

with ottens gone too, hopefully their midfield won't see so much of the ball.

As for their midfields' supply it depends on how many "monkees from the barrel " will be hanging off 211.

Davy Jones wouldn't worry him but the other three are bigger.
