Damn fine player, Bartel, not of the regular Cats' cheating mould. We should put in an offer.
GAbblett looked eminently taggable last week. Positively out of sorts. And if Barlow is tagged, can we tag the tagger?
I'm a believer that we should take a giant step for pete's sake.

The way nancy boy played last week I'd let him run free. His useless 40 touches were a joke. How he's rated as the best player in the game astounds me. Bartel is twice the player and is the bloke I'd be tagging.
Bartel is good in the air, has quick hands in close, great disposal and decision making while remaining incredibly hard at the man and ball. I'd throw Deboer on him if Dutchy has recovered and still has the tank. Rotate with Clam Hands.

We might need a sacrificial lamb in the shape of someone like bradley to go the thump to keep the thugs in check.

I think VB had a role in tagging the Gablett at the Freo Oval scratchy in the preseason - Harvs was rotating players off him all afternoon, but it was VB who was there the most.
There's a lot of talk about the game on Sunday - we all know how good the Cats are, they can kill you/wrap up a game in a quarter.

Has Mcphee got the tank to run with Giblet, might be the go to get him into form just run with him and close him down.
