Run Them Ragged

I think Harvey should give one simple instruction which is run and then run harder and then finally run them into the ground.
1 Cats will be a sore and tired side.
2 Injuries and suspensions.
3 It will be 27c on Sunday for the Cats another hot day as it was about that against the Hawks and mention of it was made several times in commentary and by the coach of the Cats.
4 Travel to Perth from Geelong via Melbourne.
5 Time difference.
6 Freo have run them close on both visits the last two years.
7 6 day turn around for cats.
8 Short pre season for star players may see them run out of weeties.
9 Sandilands is rucking for Freo
10Stats are working wonders for Freo at the moment and we are overdue to beat the cats.[aka essendon at home]
I am keeping eveything crossed but I will put my money on them as I lacked faith last week.I think it will be a comfortable win for us.

Some good points but I found them hard to follow given the absence of roman numerals and subsequently I have forgotten what I was, um...

I agree moptop. I found the absence of roman numerals very distracting and now, um... what was the point of this thread again??

But will running be enough. The Age wrote:
According to Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson, the difference was Geelong's bigger and harder bodies. While the Hawks, with just one ruckman, Brent Renouf, were only marginally behind Geelong in clearances and contested possessions at half-time, the difference was more glaring - 142 to 115 on contested possession, and 44 to 24 in clearances - at full-time.
Brad Ottens was a beacon in Geelong's forward 50 in the second half, and Mooney kicked four goals.
''Their big fellas didn't get any smaller as the game wore on. Ottens and Mooney and Hawkins were very, very dangerous as tall targets up forward and with those strong bodies around the foot of the ball through the stoppages between the arcs they just ended up dominating the fall of the ball and the middle part of the ground,'' Clarkson said.
Which means it would be rather useful if Tazza could hurry along and get that ankle right by Sunday.

Yeah... I reckon ferocious tackling, selfless running for each other, backing up and quick handling might play a part.
You know, what we've been doing.

Here you go, Paddy. You can borrow mine.
(i) (ii) (iii) (iv (v) (vi) (vii) (viii) (ix) (x) (d)
The four is a bit broken but should work OK.
I've thrown in a fifty as well. I've never needed it, so it's good as new. You may find a use for it.

Just at the local xxiv-hour servo. They're a bit cheaper at vii-ix though.
