I don't know if anyone else had similar misfortune this morning, but I had car troubles and had to take a taxi back home. As you can imagine, the taxi radio was set to radio ooftit with sticky tape over the buttons.

I was stunned and amazed at how Simone tried to talk about anything except footy! When footy (or Freo) was mentioned it was all how only blah blah numbers turned up and how the ooftits will get more next week.

Riveting stuff!!

Ooftits suck (clearly), but winners are grinner's and the bigger the win, the bigger the grin.

What a wonderful start to season 2010.

Go Freo, keep those medja hacks silent.

I too was caught in a taxi and heard the first few minutes. There was a lot of traffic noise but I thought I heard him try to talk about a game of other rugby at one point. Next week turn in to hear his thoughts on the women's golf. By the mid June we should be getting regular updates on the Latvian Four Square League.

ps. I think the Daugavpils Dogs can go all the way this season.

Don't know where you lot are catching all these cabs with PR on the radio from. All the taxis outside my work have a selection of Ravi Shankar's greatest hits and the Koran set to dance music.

I was looking forward to listening to Geoff Hutchinson on ABC this morning as he gleefully rubs Glen Mitchell's face in it. However I had to attend a staff meeting. I love staff meetings on a morning like this morning. I sat there with only 4-5 hours sleep (too excited/pumped to sleep) in amongst a room full of miserable egirl supporters.

Absolute bliss. Absolutely AWESOME game yesterday. Well worth the long drive there and back!

What's with the recurring use of the word OOFTIT ?

I'm not a fan of the term, but surely whoever made it up should insist that the "S" isn't left out - cos then it just doesn't make sense.

I also have a problem with people saying "PIN number".
UBD directory is fine though.
