I usually don't believe in signs but occasionally little things do make it seem like there is a higher guiding power or at least a footy god/s.
Back in 2004 or 2005 I had to go down to my local IGA in Canberra to get some milk or something. As I came out I saw Matt Price (RIP) on his mobile. I felt that was a talisman of good luck and sure enough that weekend we had a thrilling victory against St Kilda
Last Friday outside the Victorian Arts Centre on St Kilda Road I saw a customer at a cafe wearing a Freo jacket. Again I thought this was a sign of good things to come on the weekend.
Finally, today there appeared to be two good signs for the upcoming game. Firstly, this morning as I watched last night's match highlights my one year old brought me his singing Freo bear as he loves the Freo song it plays when it hugged (It is very cute seeing him dance to Freo Way to Go). Secondly, I went out today to do some shopping in Moonee Ponds proudly wearing my Freo cap. As I crossed Mt Alexander Road I got a stern stare from an Essendon supporter.
In all probability these are just coincidences but I would like to believe that the are not.

Scores on Sunday night: Freo CXVIII Adelaide LXII
I - VIII = VII
VI + II = VIII - I(the remaining I from CXVIII) = VII
The signs are everywhere
