West Coast players Koby Stevens and Brad Sheppard were taken to hospital last night after being injured playing for East Fremantle against East Perth at East Fremantle Oval.
Stevens hurt his knee while Sheppard was cut and possibly concussed during an incident during the final quarter of the Sharks' seven-point victory - 9.8 (62) to 7.13 (55) - in difficult conditions.
I realise that last part has no relevance to the injuries but I couldn't work out how to truncate the sentence.
