well I'm back.
That is how long it took to install firefox on a 3yo computer.
It seems to run a whole lot faster, and doesn't crash on the discussion topics with video in them!

Any Mac users out there??? Does anyone else have difficulties watching video from the FFC or AFL websites. I can't get them to run on my Mac. I've tried Safari, Firefox and Opera. Installed Silverlight... still nothing. Any ideas (other then ditching my beloved Mac and buying a PC)?

The afl is a joke when it comes to the video they provide. I'm on a mac also and am overseas so paying for a subscription to aussiesports.tv - but doesn't work for mac.
Time the afl joined the modern era and made the website and content universally accesible.

No only was I overseas and miss the JLO winning goal against the saints, but I paid for 2yrs AFL video and aussiesport subscription, it never worked on our mac.
The country I was in has superfast internet, yet I couldnt use.
I believe Telstra and the AFL site is all affiliated with Microsoft. I also couldnt listen to many Perth stations to listen to radio online
So made the MRS come back to OZ where I wont miss any footy and I can smell the Gum trees.
Now I have Firefox on my PC and the latest version works great with Dockerland and AFL videos.

TheColonel, CTRL/F5 tells the web server to which you are connected to refetch the web page from the hosting server.
It's a good tip when pages don't load properly.
