How about that! Our first ever finals win and wasn?t it worth waiting for. There is not a truer saying than, ?Good things come to those who wait.? We waited for over a decade to win a final but there is something extremely satisfying about achieving it after such a long loyal and painful wait.
But the enjoyment didn?t stop there because along with the win, many dockerland punters made plenty in the second week of the 5th and final round of the 2006 Greyhounds WA dockerland Punting Competition. Peter Bell returned dividends, Shaun McManus and Shane Parker chipped in and the Peter Bell possessions and Docker win double was a popular bet.
Anyway let?s get on with it. The successful bets from the weekend were as follows ?
* Freo won by 28 points
* Eagles won by 74 points
* Peter Bell 22 possessions fell in the 21 ? 25 possession category.
* Fremantle won and Peter Bell (22) 18 ? 24 possession category double
* Peter Bell 22, Shaun McManus 11, Shane Parker 11, fell in the total 41 ? 50 possession category.
* Fremantle & Eagles winning double
