Well it was a horrendous final week of the season for us Freo fans but we got through it. The Greyhounds WA dockerland Punting Competition gave us a bit of an interest in the outcome and the fifth and final week of the fifth and final round wrapped up for 2006 on the final siren.

Congratulations to punter Joshy who belted the field in the fifth round. He virtually won by the length of the Flemington straight with an amount of almost $5k. He eased up and rode hands and heels to the finishing line with a small cautious bet of $300 on both teams. It was going to take a big effort to reel Joshy in as he went in to the final week with a big lead. No other punter could bridge the gap so Joshy goes out the final winner of the 2006 Greyhounds WA dockerland Punting Competition.


We all know the results from the weekend but just in case you did the smart thing and stuck your head in the sand for its entirety, here they are.
