They're onto us. Having worked out that the Dockers are now the best travelling team in the country, the AFL has halved the Dockers games at the MCG for 2006 and will force them to play in every state in Australia - including two trips to each of Fremantle's worst performing grounds - York Park and AAMI Stadium.

The good news for Fremantle supporters is, if they want to see the Dockers play in Tassie this year, they've got plenty of time to get there. If you hop on your bike now and get pedalling, you should be able to make it to Launceston in time for the start of the season when the Dockers take on the Hawks at York Park on April 2nd - just make sure you ride one of those big three wheel yellow numbers when you're crossing the straight.

If the Freo supporters survive that trip, they'll have to pedal their way back home pretty quickly if they want to see the Dockers take on Carlton on the following Saturday at Subi Oval. Of course, the AFL don't like to put the Victorian clubs out, so the game will be played at night to avoid the Carlton boys being subjected to any West Aussie sunshine.

Once Carlton have been brushed aside, it's back on the bikes and over to South Australia. Fremantle will be taking on Port Adelaide at AAMI Stadium on the 16th of April at the peculiar time of four o'clock in t he afternoon. Just in time for the Port supporters to wake up.

After Fremantle escape from South Australia, it's the traditional Anzac Day clash. One of the great traditions in recent years has been for the AFL to schedule Fremantle's Len Hall Anzac Day match as far away from Anzac Day as possible, so this game will be played on the 22nd of April. Fremantle will play Adelaide this year. Adelaide don't like sunshine either so, again, the game will be played at night.

What better way to celebrate a win over the Crows than going on another long trip. Fremantle will head east again after the 'Anzac Day' match to Tassie once more. Fremantle are usually pretty good at sussing out a venue when they play there regularly so hopefully a big Dockers win will see the AFL rule out any further games there.

After that gruelling stretch of games, things level out for Fremantle with a few soft ones. They return back to Perth to knock off West Coast, make their first appearance in Melbourne where they'll take care of the Demons at the MCG, then return back home to laugh off the Kangaroos.

By this time Fremantle are expected to have a bit of rhythm going so it only seems fair that they are shipped off to Queensland to take on Brisbane at the Gabba. Being from WA, Fremantle love the heat so the game has been scheduled for 1 o'clock in the afternoon.

That's the end of the AFL sanctioned lunacy. In Round 10 it's Richmond at Subiaco Oval, then the Bulldogs at Telstra Dome, Geelong at Subi, over to Sydney at the SCG, Essendon on a Friday night at Subi Oval, Collingwood (MCG), Melbourne (Subiaco), Carlton (Telstra Dome), Hawthorn (Subiaco) and Adelaide (AAMI).

The last three games are all at Subiaco Oval with the battle for top spot against St Kilda in Round 20, an away Derby in Round 21 and a finals warm up match against Port in Round 22.
