The Carbiz Autos Tipping Competition is going absolutely gangbusters already and we’re only three weeks in. Now I don’t know what the term is for something that supersedes “gangbusters” but when you read on and realize what Norm Bernhardt has put on offer, well whatever that term is, that’s how the competition will be going.

 

Each and every week the winner of the Carbiz Autos Tipping round will be awarded an Imsmaat Breathalyzer! Now given Norm’s generosity, he gave both Shane and I one each and let me tell you it has come in extremely handy and saved us already.

 

After the big win on Saturday against the Eagles, it’s safe to say the celebrations at the Sail and Anchor went on a bit. It got to almost midnight when the “One for road” call was made. Well long story short we couldn’t decide on which road the one was for so we had one for every road which involved the journey back to Dockerland headquarters. (I didn’t previously know this but evidently Hannan St Kalgoorlie is used to get to Dockerland headquarters) Anyway when we finally left the S & A, we went to get in the Dockerland Kingswood but thought we’d better whip the Carbiz Autos breathalyzer out before and gave it a going over before proceeding. Well we each tested and Shane’s come up with a reading of “Ben Cousins” level and I hit one level lower and that was a “Daniel Kerr” reading. Oddly enough Shane was on the verge of doing a runner and I was looking for a taxi driver to give a belting to, but unlike certain others, we both showed a great deal of restraint. So a cab was called and thanks to Carbiz Autos, our licenses remained intact and the Dockerland Kingswood remained free of any further dents.
