As promised and as he always does, Norm Bernhardt and his Carbiz Autos have yet again delivered. The treatment that Carbiz Autos gives your car is that good you would think that is alone is more than enough. But no, not for Norm. He goes and takes sponsorship of the Carbiz Autos Dockerland Tipping Competition and fills it chock-a-block full of magnificent prizes for all Dockerlanders. Yet on top of all that he’ll still look after you when you take your car to him to get serviced and whisper on the quiet, “hit me up with the Dockerland treatment Norm.”
Fremantle CEO, Cameron Schwab has announced that he will go out on a high and leave his position at the Dockers after the 2008 Premiership. Taking the Fremantle Dockers from the brink of collapse to one of the top 4 AFL clubs, Schwab has resided over a golden era of off field growth for the Dockers and propped up the local shoe shine industry which was facing collapse at the turn of the century.
Schwab will return home to Melbourne after October 30th for family reasons. The club is expected to put increased security on the premiership cup around that time to prevent him wandering off with it.
That’s the stuff we’ve been waiting for. That’s the stuff that tops up Greyhounds WA Dockerland Punting accounts. Fremantle’s effortless win in the derby has gotten not only their season going but also many Dockerland punter’s campaigns off and running. Many punters got on board the purple wagon in the western derby and took the generous Dockerland odds on offer and all ended up with plenty of Dockerland dollars after week three of the first round. How good does it feel winning Arthur ash on Fremantle by knocking over the Eagles! Very satisfying.
