The old guys
#303336
This may have already been talked about but has everyone noticed over the last 3 games just how good the likes of...

Pavlich
Haselby
MacPharlin
Headland

...are now that they can just play their own game and not try and make up for the deficiencies of the rest of the team.

I mean we always knew they were good but we are now finding out just how good.

Spot on DG.

Was great watching Hase dish off hand passes to runners like Hill, Morabito, Suban etc.

Pav can move about the midfield forward line or down back knowing that the younger ones will perform well.

McPharlin is showing enormous strength across half back.

Dessie plays with renewed vigour and can really show off his skills.

What about Roger - The Genius that is - he can stroll and weave his magic up forward - kick a goal at the right time - while knowing that the backline is the safe "clam hands" of Broughton.

There is a lot of confidence about Freo.

Does Crowley count as an old guy? And Mitchell Johnson?

your right Roger has to be included in that group (sorry Genius)

as for Creepy and Johnno their not old enough yet but yes they too are in fine form but I think they will get even better over the next year or 2 as they become the older guys, Sandi's with these not quite old guys

Pav, Hase etc are right now sublime and they may get better too but it's hard to imagine how they could
