You're right about Rog cramping. But set shots during the warm up? Hmmm ... I don't think it was predetermined that he'd go forward in the game, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility that occasional (but always unexpected) forward stints have been added to his brief.
I'm starting to think the coaching strategy is to 'go weird'. And I've got a feeling that the way to figure out Freo under Harvs is to watch videos of every game that Sheedy coached at Essendon.
Which is to say you'll never figure out Freo at all.
Let's face it: being inexplicable worked for Sheeds for 27 yrs.

You know, the really cool thing about what's going on is, we haven't seen the half of it yet.

Absolutely. How many tricks have the likes of Hill and Morabito got to show us, as the confidence grows? The mind boggles.
And we ain't seen Palmer yet!

yup... it must give some people the irrits bad when you think back to all the slagging they've given the coach and some players as recently as this summer.
Hase was a dud, Harves was a dud... where are they now?

I had trouble keeping up with the pace of that game. Chops is doing his bit around the clearances - he is going alright.
