What a game by both of them tonight. It was amazing to watch them in action and go at each other in a "whatever you can do, I can do better" kind of way.
Ablett kept the Cats in the game in the first half and Pavlich did exactly the same for the Dockers in the second half. Pavlich dragged the Dockers over the line tonight. Others contributed obviously but ....
I am just glad I was at the game to watch them and it was even better that we won.
Such a high quality game.

I can't say I was on the Ablett band wagon....until today!
He was amazing to watch, so fast and played smart footy.
Pav was an inspiring Leader out there today and an absolute champion.
BTW Nic Nat No better not have better odds for Brownlow over Sandi in the paper tomorrow. What a bad joke!

Ablett was good in a arty farty sort of way, and given the umpires allow him more time to get rid of the ball than anyone else, but quite a few of his disposals were ineffective.
Pav was an absolute inspiration, bursting out of the centre and turning up everytime a superhero was needed. But for me nothing says captain more than that mark he didn't quite take in the last quarter where he landed on his back in agony, completely winded, almost dead... and - while every fan in the stand near him held their breath with fear that he might never play again - he got up and went hard at it because that's who he is.
