All Gave Some , Some Gave All

This Club was reborn today in front of 38,762 fans.
This was the game that signalled the beginning of the future with our young stars following Pav's lead . It was truly character building stuff and a great feeling for this fan.
Pavlich played one of the best games he has ever played for Freo not so much for possessions or other stats but for genuine leadership at crucial stages of the game. His long goals and pack busting possessions were just awesome, even by his standards.
Stephen Hill is now just so dangerous for Freo that he can now expect a full on tag every week.
Morabito is just so close to exploding onto the scene it's nerve wracking. He just oozes class and is such a strong player that he could be considered a future Pavlich in waiting.
Another fantastic game from Barlow and Silvagni and Suban got his mojo today. Damn shame about the injury.
I reckon this was a bigger victory than the St Kilda one pointer Friday Night game when J Lo took that pack mark and goal after the siren.
I'm not going to bring up the dubious decisions that looked set to derail an honest team's effort because that would take the deserved focus off what was just a fantastic performance by the Dockers.
I am feeling as proud as I possibly can.

Agree with everything except the JLo game. That night will remain at the top of the list till we win a premiership. Not long now...

That to me was good old time footy. It was man up all night. 6 back 6 forward all game. The cats are hard. Took every advantage they could. Wacked the man every chance and our guys sucked it all up and where they could gave it all back. To be fair it was as fair as fair could be. Best game I have seen and the crowd was delirious with joy and pride. And the maggots ... well they were maggots.

Agreed.
Morabito deserves the RS nomination this week for sure.

On the contrary, I would give West Coast the RS nomination.

That was the best game I've seen Docs play. Even performance for 4 quarters, sucked up the pressure, never stopped applying pressure, took their chances and won!!!! Best part though is the squad, this team has such promise and I have always liked Harvey's style.

I thought the game was not so much a Shootout but a Heavyweight Boxing Title Fight.
Our Boys are certainly a lot tougher and stronger this year.
Notice how hard it is to drag down Freo players in tackles now.
We're as good as any team in the comp this year, no doubt about it.
