radio....
#303042
i start with 6pr. he's a goose but langdon calls OK. but wiley puts me to sleep. change to sen - melbourne based so should be good. goosage???????? that lasted a few seconds. can't change to abc because glen mitchel might be on and that's no good for anyone so onto krock, geelong local station. anyone listening i suggest you get there - know their dockers players, in fact nicknames for most and it is good radio. i presume it's well used by zsa zsa de boer is quiality and they love the serial pest ballytyne. game seems fair too.

I was forced on to peearr because there was a strange 20 second lag on radio mitchell at the start of the game which made it unlistenable. I'd never listened to Langdon before. The man is a

laughable

tool.

I always tune in to ABC720, but their 20-30 second delay could not be tolerated. I switched to PR.

After a quarter of dribble from Langdon, I flipped the radio back to ABC and was relieved to find that they were back, live.

I think one of the best things about going to the game is that you don't have to listen to the drivel of so called football experts. When I'm at the footy I don't need the likes of Langdon or Mitchell telling me what I am seeing live. That's what replays or for.

Karl was OK yesterday, he didn't put the game down, he actually said he was enjoying it.( Thanks Karl ) But Robert Wiley comments of how good every Geelong player was, and when Ablett did nothing with the ball he still wet himself with joy. Bob should have a listen back and count how many times he made the comment that Fremantle won't hold on, and are going to be ran over by Geelong from the first bounce.

Not radio, but that was the good thing about BT on Seven. At no time did he write us off, even when the Cats came out strong in the 3rd and we were 21 down.

Was actually a good call I thought.

Agreed Svs1. When your at the footy, why would you want to listen to those tools? I end up muting the tv when watching our interstate games due to the **** spewing from commentators mouths. I can see what's going on and have a much more informed opinion than the ****** with microphones.

From good old Wikipedia:

"Brian Taylor (born 10 April 1962), is a former Australian rules footballer and now AFL commentator. He played with both Richmond and Collingwood during the 1980's.

Taylor was only 16 when recruited from Mandurah, Western Australia to the Richmond Football Club. "

not sure who was actually calling but bews was involved. they actually cheered when freo scored - they were genuinely enjoying the game and even did the freo chant after the siren. the ac/dc one. the only player they abused (one commentator) was flinchy mcphee for being a hack. next geelong game i will be tuning in.
