I can't wait to see how many possessions Barlow gets today even with Ling on him ... I think he's far to good to be stopped by a rang-er .
My guess 29 disposals .
THIS IS IT .. GOOD LUCK TODAY ... GO THE MIGHTY DOCKERS.

Barlow and Silvagni are the reasons the Victorian AFL want a reserves comp. The Vics can't believe players of their quality were snapped up from under their noses. If there was a ressies comp already, these guys probably would have been picked to make up the numbers then would have made it to the A team already. The Vics don't want to see any more of these types of players making it with an interstate club.

Very cynical Sharksman but you're spot on.
It is also a softening of the constraints of the draft system.

Does anyone recall where Barlow and Ling were playing in the NAB cup? Barlow wouldn't have been tagged as yet though would he?

If they're going to tag Barlow with Ling who are they going to use to tag Hase as he is probably more dangerous. Ling can't tag both of them!

Well, the Hack interviewed Haze and if you can believe what was printed in the SUnday SLimes, that Haze is looking forward to not having Ling tagging him as he will be on Barlow.
Barlow did play quite well down at Freo Oval against the Cats in the Pre season.
Bring it on...it is gonna be a good arvo.

either way, if Ling is on Barlow and he only gets a handfull of touches, that leaves Hase and hill free to get 40 odd each!
And should anyone be in the vicinity of The Bath hotel today in Norwood, pop in for a pint during the game. I'll be the only drunk in purple.

From memory I think they have a couple of handy midfielders for us to be concerned about too.

Yes, Barlow had a good game and from memory picked up 27 or 29 possessions against the cats at Freo oval. What many people loose sight of is in the third quarter Harve's took off half a dozen a'A'grade players and at the 15 minutes mark when he brought them back on they stopped the cats run!!
Also we had a number of players sit out the game including Froddo!!!
Come on siren time......I feel it in my water.....
TNT were dynomite!!!!!!! will be ringing through the stadium after the game.
