McLeody mentioned this passage of play in another post (on Hill):

"Barlow to Hill, Hill back to Barlow, Barlow to Ballantyne, Ballantyne handpass over his head to Headland in the square... goal."

This reminded me of what an absolutely brilliant piece of play this was by the Mayor of Mandurah, and how Mrs D and I both shouted "HE PULLED A JEFFREY" at the exact same time. I don't think this genius handball was talked up enough at the time, so I thought I'd have a crack now.
