Well Done Mr Harvey
#301816
I seem to rcall reading an article, or maybe hearing an interview with Mark Harvey in which he outlined 3 areas that he was concentrating on in the off-season.

i) Tackling and the contested ball.
Judging on the the pre-season games and the last two games, I would say that there has been a huge improvement in this area. So, big tick Mr Harvey.

ii) Centre Clearances.
So much was made in the past of the the fact that Sandi would get the tap but the oppposition would shark. Well, in the last 2 games I would say that we are reading Sandi's taps better than the opposition and getting more centre clearances.
Another big tick, Mr Harvey.

iii) Learning to win away from Subiaco. Simulating conditions that would enable the team to win at Ethiad or other interstate venues. On today's performance that is another big tick for Mr Harvey.

Thank you Mr Harvey and thank you Fremantle Football Club. Your hard work and endeavour has made me a very happy person.

Can I reiterate what this good judge has said....much maligned by the media...had to learn on the big bike after Sheedy..he has built the same model the BABY DOCKERS...he hasnt gone for the big fix like Connolly or Drum, he has put his faith in guys who want to battle for their spots...he is not interested in guys who have the silver spoon in their mouths at draft time... he has gone with battlers thanks to our recruiting manager Mr Lloyd (ironically enough who is Matthew Lloyds brother!!!)
