I think Barlow's 200th game has overshadowed More of Benito's game. I have now watched the game 3 times and he did a lot of small very impressive things around the contest, not to mention some clean kicking, nice handballs to free up Hill and a lazy 60 metre goal against the flow of play. I have read nothing about him in the greatest week of Freo hype ever (clearly designed to overshadow the Eagles ineptitude).
It is also true to say that my love for hill grew exponentially with each viewing.

I think that Suban went relatively unmentioned too. I think this just shows that it was a team effort. You can not mention them all.
The longer that Morabito goes unmentioned the better for him.
Did anybody not do their job last weekend? McPhee is the only one I can think of but a friend at the game says he was responsible for putting the youngsters into the correct positions around stoppages and therefore played his part.

I'm still amazed that so few people have mentioned Hase over the last few days. He was doing some absolutely classy stuff both on and off the ball.
I think part of his problem is that he makes things look so easy that nobody truly realises just what he's doing. People keep saying he looked off in the pre-season, well he looked darn good to me on Sunday!

many of those that looked lackadaisical in the preseason looked hot on Sunday: Pav, Hase and creepy among them.
McFree's ankle seems like a convenient excuse for him but I get the feeling he is still having a bit of trouble finding his place at Freo. I have no doubt he will get there, though.
just for the record... Benito is Mora? can I add it too 'The Name Game'?

Agreed - Crowley was fired up. Winning obviously has a very good effect on the lads. Lets hope they don't return to the doldrums when and if they lose.

Crowley came over to the Adelaide bench on the halftime siren, and walked shoulder to shoulder with Griffin to the centre to let him know what a crab he was. Filled me with man-love.
