I've not been a fan of Brian Taylor over the years but I thought his running commentary on Sunday on Barlow and number of disposals was most amusing. BT and Gerard are a good combination. As for Jacko...still embarrassing. How good it is to hear 'It's Party time' referring to the Dockers instead of other teams.

He has always had a tongue in cheek kind of commentary and I find him amusing. He does not go for the rehersed one liners of other commentators and is honest with most things and calls it as he sees it. Shoeburn!
He always takes the micky out of Jacko in such an understated way that I think Dr Jackovich has no idea.

I'm glad you posted that shane, because I must have mis-remembered the half-time discussion they had.
My memory was that they didn't make half that much sense.

BT was good, apart from the fact that he kept calling Big Azza "Sandy Lands".
Both of the people that watch the NBL thought he did a good job on that this year too.

he also mispronounced Elvis's surname a lot - kept hearing him saying "Mick-Far-Layne"

I know we're talking BT, but on 6PR the other night (yes I know, but Belly was on) I heard Langdon say "..in the near distant future".

Seeing BT reminds me of the mistake people often make in facial hair. You grow a tash, think it looks cool, next thing you know it is the thing that people recognise about you...then you realise that it was completely misguided but it is too late!
If BT got rid of the tash, foxtel would get rid of BT & ask the tash to be commentator...with very little difference.

Having watched the game on telly I actually enjoyed BTs call.He definitely takes the mickey out of Jacko but doesn't take himself too seriously at the same time.A vast improvement on Dwayne Russell..
