Seems Bombers are out to square up with McPhee:

If they're worried about McPhee they're not focussed on the game and that's good news for us.
LORD BARLOW
Barlow will have a monster week, heaps of media articles, every person he's ever met calling him up to congratulate him, and then the pressure of playing in Melb in front of friends and family. Here's hoping he can back up ... but if he doesn't I still think we'll get another 150+ decent games out of him.

I reckon this week would be a good one to rest Mcphee in the WAFL. Obviously his form is crap and he will be flinching like a tic with a tic over the thought of playing his old team. Whats the downside? The young fellas and the team as a whole dont need the extra distraction. If he was in good form then now worries but he isn't. It would show some real backbone from the coaching staff but due to egg on face syndrome I doubt it would happen.

I'd have thought Flinchy would be right up for this and will work extra hard to make an impact. Combine that with the fact we need to have some hardened experience on the road, particularly someone who has played so often at this ground, I'd say he's a shoe in.
