I bumped into our #1 former Premier and #1 Docker supporter before the game last night (Alan 'Carps' Carpenter) - he was sporting a spanking new set of Polly Shoes. I thought it was a good omen and wondered if all those special people with Polly shoes wore them as well - if so, it may be our lucky charm for this season.

I changed the laces to support the notion of the Purple Haze game - this week, I'm putting my feet up and relishing the job the guys did on the weekend:

I noticed that when our #1 former Premier and #1 Docker supporter arrived on Sunday that he was wearing similar shoes to my Polly-pair.



Unfortunately, my pair are no longer as spotless as the photo.

Normally they are Dunlop Green Flash canvas sneakers - Mercury, that doyen of the DuFFLe, has a well known penchant for Volleys (wears them beyond the stage when even Gandi would've given them the heave).

Keep them on at game time - it's working.

These are my ones.One owner,approx.150,000 klms.Occassionally maintained,very reliable and comfortable;like the Volley,are capable of high-performance,elite perambulation(although can tend to wobble on long-distance post-game swim-throughs).
