Hase
#300919
Anyone at the game on Sunday care to give a wrap up on Hase's game.
From what I watched on the telly he didnt seem to be around the ball to often, but I only get to see what fox want me to see so I thought maybe he was running with a player or off a flank or something?

Started on the bench, but was on the field within five minutes of the bounce-down and continued a role in the midfield rotation throughout the game.

Twenty possessions and two tackles. He was in and amongst it all day. Did some great roving to Sandi around the ground, too.

Yeah... his roving to Sandi was precise. His ability to spot a man or be the man to spot was outstanding, too.

Hase still has it.

Good to hear!
He must have been roving and giving it off so quick that the tv cameras couldn't keep up... Yeah that makes heaps more sense to me than him not doing much through the game!!

What I noticed from the TV at least, was that Hase most definitely still has it.

The youngster were exciting ure but Hased was very sure throughout. He just looked like he had heaps of time, his touch was deft and he made difficult gets look easy.

Say what you like about his leg speed but he is just all class in my book and looked it last night. An excellent example for the new blokes.

Trust me, he still Has it. Big time.

It's a crazy turn of events when Hase and Pav and Headland are the veterans out there maintaining some order amongst the mayhem while all the little newbies run around like maniacs. Hase probably thinks it's about time some young kids came and did some of the running for him.

All of a sudden Mundy, Rog, Duffield, Johnson etc. are some of our most experienced players and it seems like only yesterday they were the rookies. We're getting old folks. Hase and I will be 29 soon - scary. but it is a cool number.

Found space easy as usual, spotted up Barlow for a shot on goal (think he kicked it). His hands with Pav for quick one two in the middle of the park were AWESOME when it was them v 7 crow-bots.

Hase was great.
It was like the old days when Hase, Pav and McPhee combined for a goal in the second qtr I think it was? Not sure, but it was fantastic.

Do you think you and Hase might have a combined 30th jordo?

No need to ask what present you would like from him.

Loved his work.
Bit slow when defending but otherwise, thumbs up

Yeah, not that Jordo is biased.

Somewhere in the 3rd quarter, there is a handpass from Hase to Pav that was just the Hase of old. The magic boomerang effect where Hase is in another dimension to everyone else.

I reckon Hase played better than solidly, seemed to be running around matching it with Bernie Vince.

The thing that really stood out was his working a lot harder in defence. When the opposition had the ball, used to be Hase would make an effort but give up the ghost pretty quickly. Yesterday, even if he was way behind he was digging in the hard yards.

Seems to be covering the ground a lot better too after a full pre-season.

Particular good game considering he was riding in the fifth at Geraldton earlier in the day.

Do you reckon he played well enough for the club to let him have a feed yet?
