I love Belly to death, but when I have heard him speak publicly I have never thought he was the most exciting person to listen to.
Yes what he has to say is very interesting and his knowledge on football (as well as many other things) is second to none, however I hope he can translate all that knowledge into a way that will still make you want to sit and listen.
But on a bright side...finally we have some one to stand up for our boys on the airwaves!

I assume AFL Rules is what you get when you ask someone from the Sydney office to do up a quick plug for the radio wing of the empire.
But I'm sure they wanted to highlight his knowledge of Aussie Rules to distinguish him from his co-presenter.

Personally I'd rather have Troy Cook in there.
Every time klangdon opens his gob, Cooky could smash him with one of those trademark tackles.
The problem with having Belly on there, is he's too smart for klangers and 99% of peeeeearrrrrrhhh audience who wouldn't understand much of what he is saying.
The exception here would be the Dockerlanders stuck in THAT taxi...who would understand it...and enjoy it!

At least with Belly we wont hear the usual snearing reposte of "how many premierships did you win then" or "how many finals did you play in then". This is the default position when the real debate is being lost by Slime advocates.
