Eagle Members Best Effort Award

I happen to work in the settlement industry and saw a bloke from another settlement agency I hadnt seen for a year or so and ir reminded me of a situation he told me that happened to his partner[eagles member of long standing].
He was incensed that she couldnt get into the particular derby with her membership and he had rang up the club and given them a serve about her been refused entry at the game.
I told him with an absolutely deadpan face that it was a Freo home derby.Sadly it didnt appear he grasped the signifigance of this.
Can anyone top that?

No, but typical of their sense of a God-given birthright.

They speak for themselves.
Scientist at a think tank in Germany have been working for 5 years now to test the following hypothesis:
"There is nothing more stupid or retarded in the universe than being a West Coast Eagles member".
Sources close to the think tank scientists have leaked that the results, to be published in next month's edition of the journal "Nature", look like disproving the hypothesis because it appears that the "most stupid and retarded thing in the universe" is in fact being on the eagle's membership waiting list.

Are those scientists the fellows who are propelling stuff down a tube at great speeds and watching to see what happens when said stuff collides?
I kinda like the idea of using ooftit members for that.

Ah freobear you're talking about the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) a wonderful and quite valuable (from a research point of view) tool.
But what you're proposing is actually an LKC (Large Knob Collider) however for this equipment the word "Large" relates to the "knobness" of the knobs that are made to collide whereas "Large" in an LHC refers to the fact that the equipment itself is large. The other difference of course is that one is a tool and the other uses tools.

What if we somehow able to organise two simultaneous derbies (both West Coast home games to avoid ticket confusion) at grounds that were opposite each other.
At three quarter time they would all rush out the gates, crash into each other and we'd discover the origins of the universe as their heads bash together. I believe was a gaping chasm but we won't know for sure until we test it out.

Years ago I was copping it from a budgie fan at work after they'd beaten us in a derby. I remarked that Gardiner had played a pearler and budgie fan went on and on about how great Gardiner had played.
His face was priceless when I pointed out that Gardiner hadn't played.
