The Wife and I were invited by (insert corporate Body Here)to attend the season launch last night. Firstly I have been to quite a few of these and in the past there has been a lot of "Good season ahead kind o stuff".

But this year there was something a little different, and that is because all of the players looked really good i.e. really firing fit and all had this confident reservedness about them if I can call it that.

We also were lucky to be seated next to Chopper Mayne as we all know he hates a conversation. Anyhow we got a fair bit from him in the fact that there is a really good vibe around the club.

He has personally had a really good pre season and feels great. Little Nicky SOOOOBAN also was looking bulkier than last year.

There was on the next table a skinny guy that I thought was Paul Hazelby and on double take it actually was. Wow he has lost so much weight.

Any way we liked what we saw and I think that we will be a better team this year. As to how much remains to be seen at the end of R22.
