The only surprise is that it's taken this long for Benny Boy to become news again.
Bye, bye Richmond. (The Tigers, I mean)

I think you'll find that Ben Cousins mental toughness is so good that, even if he's been out on the turps all night and would absolutely love to get some other gear into him, he is able to resist the temptation and keep himself completely clean.

just deregister him now....

"Mystery surrounds what would be one of the most eagerly, and perhaps fearfully-awaited books to hit Perth in years – the authorised biography of Ben Cousins.
Strong rumours suggest the book - which is sure to have football identities on both sides of the country extremely worried - is complete and awaiting publication.
When contacted by WAtoday.com.au, reputed author Peter Wilmoth refused to confirm it even existed, let alone what details it might contain.
Cousins is currently being dogged by severe abdominal pains, which has sent him to hospital twice for a barrage of tests and threaten his place in the Richmond team for round one."
The Brownlow medallist is about to start with a second year at his adopted home of Richmond, and is also continuing to work on the video documentary of his rehabilitation.
The film, being made in conjunction with video producer Paul Butler, is understood to include contributions from Chris Judd, Kevin Sheedy, Gerard Healy, Mick Malthouse, Dean Cox and David Wirrpanda, among others.
But its subject matter is likely to mean it will not be aired until Cousins' football career is finished.
"Obviously while Ben's playing there's going to be certain restrictions on what can and can't go to air," Cousins' former manager Ricky Nixon told SEN radio last year.
"He can't do anything that’s going to bring the game into disrepute, so certain footage that may or may not be appropriate is where the judgement will have to be.
"It's pretty damning.
"There's no point putting something to air only (for Cousins) to be deregistered for life two minutes after it goes to air."

Surely, if there are claims of activities which could see him de-registered, the AFL, the Richmond Football Club or the other football club would be conducting an investigation into the matters.
I mean, Fremantle had to investigate two players wearing white sheets - and, if I recall correctly, were criticised for taking the entire morning to do so.

Does this fool really think he can name names, particularly "other prominent personalities around Perth", and live to cash the cheque?

So what you're saying is the stomach pains are probably the results of the classic Russian mafia, plutonium in the drink trick.

Just say for instance (that you a had a friend...) that you (he, she it)had prior knowledge that a test was coming to a club near you and you knew that that your friends little near blackout was associated with activities that were best not remembered and you were told (your friend that is) if you (him her it) faked an illness - just for the sake of the exercise - once they got you to hospital they would probably give you things to try to make you feel better. I'm wondering - just for the sake of the execise - what could they give you that would mask the presence of things you (or your friend) might have had earlier - like that time in the blackness?
