What fun! Caught up with Alvin, Polly, Biz and The Captain. Also brought in a couple of ring-ins who were of enormous import to the camaraderie of the evening. Meanwhile, Richmond choke as the Woodsmen run riot. And "Thank you" Alvin for the single malt - consider your debt paid.

I found it relatively easy to get behind the dees but going for Collingwood is going to be tougher.

I am currently learning the Collingwood song. It is my duty. My duty to annoy the c**p out of every eGulls' supporter.

I have always been a two-team supporter. Freo and whoever is playing the eGulls. Sometimes, that's hard and you have to cheer for Collingwood; but the alternative is more awful.

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you all, sinking a couple of frothies and sharing a few tales.

Must admit I was a little apprehensive about going, and I had piked out on previous occasions.

However, I recommend to any other coaches that if you get a chance, take the plunge, they're a top bunch - plus it's much better than trying to talk Duffle with the Mrs!

Completely forgot about bribing Merc, looks like its back to pick 16-18 for The Jokers.
