The Semi Finals

Semi Final #1: Blocker v Straddo

Old man Blocker once again graces the DuFFle Finals. His Willsie Aeroplane has been a consistent performer and usually makes it into the top eight. To be fair, I can't remember when WillsieAir missed the finals. But to this year... Straddo has had uninspiring season, but a season in which the Souls pretty well did what was needed to beat the team put in front of them. Uninspiring like a self-service checkout at Coles, but just as effective. Let me be forthcoming by saying that Blocker is in trouble. WillsieAir has done just enough in the past to scrape through. That won't cut it for Semi Final #1 as the Marauding Souls are desperate to harvest more for the soul army. I'm calling it - Blocker is gone.


Semi Final #2: Nelson v Bizkit

Nelson, put on your brown pants. Bizkit has found form - great form - as the 2018 season draws to a close. I cannot see anything stopping the Superstars and you would be best advised to flee.


The Richmond Cup Eliminations


Elimination #4: The Captain v Alvin
Let's be fair. I'd like to say that The Captain will slice Alvin's Jedis apart. I'm just not so sure. Both The Captain and Alvin have underachieved throughout the 2018 HomeNaway and the Richmond Cup would be a bitter-sweet reward for 2018. I think The Captain will do enough, but it will be close.

Elimination #5: Moptop v Joe
After I stuffed up the initial draw for this Richmond Cup Elimination, a reassessment was due. The Thundering Chooks had a most impressive win last week and similar for will see the Chooks sitting high on the roost come Sunday night.

After a powerhouse performance from the Stars last week, it's pretty hard to drop anyone although I expect a better output from Armo in the middle this week. Nelson has an incredibly high scoring midfield so if we're any chance, we need to split the contest there.
