So, for all franchises starting with Purple Kit and below, they need to start thinking of the Richmond Cup. And we have some serious contenders in the lower threshold of the DuFFle ladder. FreoSon and PK have great squads and should be in the top eight. Joe Nobody, if he had more DuFFle experience, would also have been vying for the Glenmorangie Finals; but, sadly, us experienced players take no prisoners. Suffer in your jocks, Joe!
So what is happening in the top eight? Most notably, Blocker is in form. WillsieAir smashed Slammen’s Men by seventy points and whereas the Covfefes only won by half a point, they have locked in their double chance.
Nelson’s solid win over my Hermits gives the Dreamers a bit of breathing space. They are safely in the eight but just one loss will have them teetering on the edge of the Richmond Cup divider. Bizkit continued with the Stars’ late season form and are now the official dark horse for the premiership. Personally, I’d like this horse nobbled. Who’s with me?
