The AFL has Round 16 bouncing down at 5.20pm (WA time) on Thursday this week so your team needs to be submitted to this thread by 5.10pm. (Yes, 5.10pm - I have noticed this week.) And, unless you have PMed me prior to the deadline, I won't be posting any teams for any player who misses the deadline. You will go into the game with last week's selected side.
OH LOOK, IT'S ANOTHER THURSDAY NIGHT GAME
So Round 16 commences on a Thursday night and, just for interest, so does Round 17. So as teams are vying for the top spots on the DuFFLe ladder, there is a whole lot of luck involved and a bit of faith in trying to pick your team over the next couple of weeks. And these two weeks are pretty crucial, four teams sit within a single win of Oos's Kaykups and as you look down the list there are seven teams just outside of the top eight who could easily play in the Glenmorangie Final Series.
It will be an interesting round in the DuFFLe. Polly, will kick off the weekend by kicking Straddo's butt and Blocker will add to Slammo's recent demise with a solid win. The Covfefes will dent the Nobodies' chances of playing finals and Alvin will also feel this pain when they are put to the sword by Sonia's Spurrs.
The Chooks won't be good enough to match El Primero and my Hermits should bite-back with a win against Nelson's Dreamers. Bizkit has a team on the rise and rise further the Stars will, much to the chagrin of the Knight Riders. There appears to be no saviour for the Piglets and one can just hope for a quick and painless execution. Oos's Kaykups will provide that. I'm hoping the Ingredients will have another win in the HomeNaway this year; but it won't be this week. The Captain is too good.
