The following teams have a Bye this week: Brisbane, Collingwood, Essendon, Greater Western Sydney, Melbourne and North Melbourne.

The bloody AFL! Not only do they inflict the Bye Rounds on us, but during a Bye Round, we get a Thursday night game to start Round 13. Salt on wound. Right then... Your team has to be submitted to this thread by 5.40pm (WA time) on Thursday. If you miss the deadline, I will pick a team for you.

  • Oos has been hit hard by the Byes this week, so I reckon Straddo will score a victory.
  • The Captain's Jokers aren't strong enough to beat MattyT's El Primero.
  • Joe Nobody will be well-matched against FreoSon, but I think the Spurrs will win.
  • PK and Blocker have both been hit hard in this Round by the Byes; I'm tipping WillsieAir.
  • Ditto for Alvin and Slammo. Lots of players out. The Jedis to win.
  • Ditto for Bizkit and 391. Lots and lots of players out. You'd have to think the Covfefes will be victorious.
  • Moptop and me. Pfft! The Hermits easily.
  • Nelson and Polly are also well-matched. It's Hooley Dooley time!
  • Cookie and FD are not as badly affected as other teams. It's a big chance for the Ingredients, but the Piglets will trot it in.

Geez, I can't wait for these Bye Rounds to be over. Of course then, the real jockeying for position starts. Then we start talking about double-chances and the Richmond Cup.
