Edie's been a bit asleep at the wheel here. He should have been pushing his weight around down at AFL house to make sure they didn't gift Geelong the Sleepy Hollow final.
Then he would have been pretty much certain he'd be playing the Cats at the G the week after next, Hawthorn at the G the week after that and then (if his mob are good enough) Freo at the G in the Grannie. And, let's face it, losing Grand Finals are a proud Collingwood tradition, and I'm sure we'd be happy to help continue it.
So I'm not so concerned that the team that finished sixth is bitching it has to fly as many miles and has the same amount of days between games as the team that finished third. I am concerned that Eddie's not concentrating as hard as he used to.
