I can understand that Moller has been upgraded given he is an emergency (& will prob play) but Howson....we are taking the p155 now.
He hasn't been able to get a game with EF all year and has played mostly in the ressies and had some very ordinary games.

Maybe if Swans win we are happy to tank 6%

Howson is a very good kp prospect - perhaps the best we've had for a number of years, I'm glad he's been elevated. He's been injured for most of the year and has only recently played his first game for the Sharks. He's another true Freo bloke, like 1st Johnno, Griff (etc).

Moller won't play this weekend unless Sydney lose tonight.

We wouldn't want to tank if Sydney win because Geelong will almost certainly beat Brisbane and then finish top above Hawthorn.

We could beat saints and finish 3rd then play the Hawks in week one.

If we tank and finish 4th we could still end up playing Geelong at Simonds which is what we want to avoid.

Basically the best result is a Brisbane and Freo win.

The second best result is a Sydney win (by not too much) and a Freo win.

The last thing we want is for Sydney to win and we lose by enough to drop to 4th.

Pollyanna - an upgrade is only temporary for this year. He needs to go through a draft to be upgraded properly so we are upgrading him with one game to go for the following reasons:
1. Hes actually going to play this week - from outside the 25 (really 40)
2. A shot over the bow of the AFL - make us play at Geelong and we will tank big time
2. He may show lots of promise but he is as close to being an AFL Player as I am at the moment

Kingkeplar - we will obviously know the result and highly unlikely we could drop 6% in one game. Unless Sydney win by 60 plus we will almost certainly finish 3rd regardless

Howson has played most of the season for Sharks reserves...kicked a few bags of 5. Not being included in the seniors was political because he'll be going to Peel next season, so East Fremantle didn't want to play and develop him. He kicked 5 in his first senior game

Howson kicked 6.0 yesterday for the Sharks seconds - unlike Taberner he knows how to get the ball and do something with it. Great prospect, has been a Freo supporter since the day he was born - at 195cm he's no wiener.

Interesting Polly. I haven't seen anything of Howson, but I have seen Tabener get a chance or two and I can' t say I'm particularly excited at this stage.
