Nelson Gets Carded
Geez, pick up 140 points in any DuFFLe round and you'd think you would have secured a meritorious victory. Not for Oos, however. His Purple Caviar streaked ahead of the field, as did the Players. But in the run to the post,
Nelson's Alvin's Players were just way better. Scoring 157 points, Davo has pencilled in
Nelson Alvin onto his Christmas card list.
Although 391 held onto eighth spot on the DFFL ladder, the Emperors don't appear to be in any form and could well be dumped out of the first week of the Krug DuFFLe Final Series. FD's Procrastinators and Blocker's Aeroplane won low scoring affairs to pull the Chevrons down to the 11th rung.
