Telling It Like It Is
As expected, the favoured Slammo, Oos and Davo had easy victories over the Heroes, Valentines and Primero. Unfortunately for their respective DFFL franchises, the Willsie Aeroplane and Gas Giants sucked - big time. With sizeable victories to Bizkit's Superstars and PN's Bags, Blocker and the Captain are officially gorn.
Sandi's Dirty Eyes strutted their stuff and are starting to look mighty good for the InsertGoldSponsorNameHere DFFL Finals Series. Even the over-capitalised Slammen would be starting to cast fearful glances at Sandi Pitt's team. Although failing to inflict any damage on the Dirty Eyes, FD's Procrastinators aren't out of the running for the top eight and one only has to think back to last year to remember that triple crowned, inaugural member of the Pirelli Tyres DuFFLe Hall of Fame, Blocker won the premiership from eighth spot.
There's only one problem for FD3961. There are three teams with an 8/7 record vying for positions seven and eight on the DFFL ladder and the Procrastinators have the lowest aggregate score. The Chevrons are one of those teams and DockerMan will be mighty pleased that he scored an eight point victory over Polly's Hooley-Dooleys. 391's Emperors haven't given up their hopes for a top eight yet as their tight win over Derby's Schooners has them sitting 10th with a 7/8 record.
Alvin's Players shattered Nelson's Dreamers and put four points between his team and those grappling for a spot in the bottom eight. The Dreamers is another team with an 8/7 record and one wonders if Nelson his having nightmares.

- Dirty Eyes (144.5) defeated The Procrastinators (102) at Snow Dome
- Hypen's Heroes (102) lost to Slammen's Men (140.5) at The Stalag
- Bloody Valentines (92) lost to Purple Caviar (112.5) at Night Garden
