Round 5 How lucky are the White Rabbits! Okay, they scored a solid 145 points this round against The Colonel’s Trannies, but the Carpark Trannies could well have scored 175 points if The Colonel had picked better. Luckily for Moptop, The Colonel’s luck at the selection table continues to elude. The Blocker didn’t need a rabbit’s foot or any other charm to make the Jokers submit before the firepower of WillsieAir. The Captain now sits three and three and needs wins to stay in the running for the top eight. After a very slow start to the season, Straddo’s Souls have picked up another win and they no longer languish in the DuFFLe basement. Boss Hog, however, is descending into madness as his team just isn’t putting the points on the board. Mattel’s El Primero isn’t doing much on the field either but they struggled to a win over BT’s disappointing El Bombres. In contrast, Slammo-Jnr keeps putting up good scores but has again been beaten by a better team on the day; in this case, the Ingredients. It is worth noting that Slammen’s Saviours are rated the third-best team in the squad depth analysis yet they still haven’t won a game. You’d have to think that the Saviours will have a winning streak very soon. Bizkit needs wins too. His Superstars squad is riddled with injury and he needs these players to get back on the park so that the Stars can get some double-ues. This week they were defeated by FD’s Bay Bros who have been getting the job done. Not setting the world on fire, they are defeating teams they need to beat and sit four-and-two on the ladder as a result.
