Willsie Aeroplane Soars In the big-boy battle, The Blocker took down our DuFFLe’s 2024 premiership favourite in a convincing 171 to 162 margin. Suitable for Blockerhall’s birthday, the win relegated the Ingredients to the third rung on the ladder. The reigning premier, Straddo, had an embarrassing victory over BomberTroy - both teams failed to fire and Straddo sucked less than BT did. In a superior coaching matchup, Bizkit took out the underwhelming Luke’s Dukes by just a couple of points. It would be notable here, dear DuFFLer, to recognise that the Dukes if-only score was 35 points better than the Stars. Geez - 35! I have to say, though, The Colonel and The Captain also performed well below their if-only scores but the Jokers were the winners. Again, nothing of which to be proud. MattyT didn’t have the firepower to overcome the DuFFLe ladder-leader (Moptop) and Slammo-Jnr had (again) another commendable close loss. I feel for Jnr. Just taking his aggregate score into account he sits sixth but resides at the bottom of the win-loss ladder. Round 04
