Boss Hog Blows Chance I was going to say that Boss Hog Blows Big Time. I even considered something akin to, Boss Hog F***s Up. But I’m a way nicer person than that - someone who is considerate for the novice DuFFLe franchisee. But gee, didn’t Boss Hog miss a great opportunity! The If-Only for his Dukes was 180 points and his selected team managed a measly 124. Only MattyT has been as incapable in the past and, on reflection, I don’t believe he could have done as poorly... ever. Not surprisingly, Luke's Dukes lost. In doing so, the Dukes gave Moptop’s White Rabbits an undeserved win and Moppy is still undefeated. The hard luck stories of the week are of Slammen-Jnr and FD. Slammo-Jnr lost by just a half point to The Colonel, and FD fell one and a half points shy of Blocker’s WillsieAir. This has resulted in Jnr languishing at the bottom of the ladder and FD finding herself in the two and two party. Slammo-Jnr’s squad is better than this and will climb off the bottom and the Bay Bros just need a little luck to challenge for a top four spot. The big surprise was Straddo’s Souls finding form with their commendable victory over the improving Stars. The Captain, however, could not overcome MattyT’s El Primero. Matty should be well-pleased with the El Hombres sitting three and one on the ladder. Could it be his year? BomberTroy finds his team in the morass of the two and twos. If the Bombers get the right players in the right positions, they’d be doing much better. To be fair, Cookie was just too good. Round 03
