Well, Fluff My Bunny!
Three rounds into the 2024 and Moptop’s White Rabbits sit undefeated at the top of the DuFFLe ladder! Could Moppy finally prove that his inaugural season was not a fluke and he does have the chops for this competition? Time will tell and, speaking of time, the alarm did sound for Cookie this week when his Ingredients were sadly underdone. Luke’s Dukes are in their first year of the competition and are demonstrating that they will not be taken lightly. They picked up the highest score for Round 2 and thereby consigned The Captain to the losers’ pool for the first time this season. Slammo-Jnr did not secure his first win this week but really did as much as he could with his available players; BomberTroy proved to have too much firepower available in the bye round. Bizkit found form this week but so did Blocker and the Stars had to settle for an admirable loss. I wish I could say something admirable about MattyT defeating The Colonel 121 to 107, but I can’t. Take the points MattyT. Walk away and don’t look back. FD is keeping her Bay Bros in the hunt whilst making Straddo miserable. The Souls suffered and another, I have to say it, soul-destroying defeat and their season is slipping away fast. Round 02
