I'll post a more suitable tribute later, but the world lost a great man yesterday. Pollyanna passed away. He lost his year-long battle with cancer. Many, many people will miss him greatly.

Oh that’s terrible news. I know that many others on here knew him a lot better than I did and will write more fitting words, but I really enjoyed catching up with him and loved his wit.

That's some horrible news to start the day. Polly was an incredible person and that shone through with every post on this site. If you met him, he was everything you'd expect and more, hilarious, fun loving, carefree and just a wonderful presence to be around.

It's a truly sad day, RIP Polly.

So sad and sorry I never met him, sometimes I would scan the crowd at a WAFL game and wonder which one he was hoping to met him and yet know that I wouldn't have the courage or wit to introduce myself to someone whom I held in such high esteem. We are all poorer for his loss.

Bugger, we knew this day was coming but now that it's here, it's just really sad. Now that the crazy cat lady is in the pre-game car park in the sky, I know him and Oos will be looking out for us and smoothing the path to that magnificent first premiership of many, and we should all remember to take the time to salute fallen comrades when we get there. Oh No! Shocked and saddened beyond belief. The funniest Dockerlander who managed to combine the humour with a degree of sensibility and wit. Even though I never knew him I will miss him greatly here.
If anyone deserved to see a Fremantle premiership it was him.
