To Nelson’s Dreamers; they are the premiers of 2018 and get to lift the perpetual Glenmorangie DuFFLe Premiership Trophy.
The Dreamers triumphed over Blocker’s Willsie Aeroplane in a high quality grand final. Just nine points separated the two teams and Nelson can thank his backline as they outscored the WillsieAir backs by fourteen points. Both teams were well-matched in the ruck and midfield, but where Blocker made great inroads back into the game was with one Ben Brown. The talented North Melbourne forward almost kicked the Willsie Aeroplane to a historic victory. Almost. But he didn’t. All hail Nelson, the DuFFLe champion for 2018!

Directing our attention to the lower end of the DuFFLe ladder, MattyT confirmed his status of favourite by soundly defeating Joe’s Nobodies at Estadio Busselona. Well done, MattyT. You were the best of all the losers. Comiserations to you, Joe. We look forward to your more wizened return to the 2019 competition.
